Return & Refund Policy

Meraki by Emaan — Because Your Satisfaction Matters

At Meraki by Emaan, every bag and organizer is chosen with love and care — and we want you to feel exactly that when your order arrives. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to make it right.

Please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Return Window

We offer a 7-day return policy from the date of delivery.

This means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. After this window has passed, we are unable to accept returns or process refunds.

2. Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The item must be in its original condition — unused, unworn, and unaltered
  • All original tags and packaging must be intact and attached
  • The item must be free from stains, perfume, marks, or any signs of use
  • You must have proof of purchase — your order confirmation email or order number
  • The return request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery

Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted for return and will be sent back to the customer at their own expense.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:

  • Items purchased during sale, clearance, or promotional events
  • Items that have been used, worn, washed, or damaged after delivery
  • Items with removed tags or damaged packaging
  • Customised or personalised items made to order
  • Items where the return request is made after 7 days of delivery

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great care in packaging every order. However, if you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged or defective upon arrival
  • Incorrect — not the item you ordered
  • Missing from your order

You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery via WhatsApp or email with:

  • Your order number
  • A clear photo of the damaged, defective, or incorrect item
  • A photo of the packaging it arrived in

We will resolve the issue promptly with either a full replacement, exchange, or refund — at no additional cost to you.

⚠️ Claims made after 24 hours of delivery for damaged or incorrect items may not be accepted. Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

5. How to Initiate a Return

Returning an item is simple. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact us within 7 days of delivery via whatsapp

Step 2: Share the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Clear photos of the item from multiple angles

Step 3: Our team will review your request within 1-2 business days and confirm whether the return is approved.

Step 4: If approved, we will share the return address and instructions. Please do not send items back before receiving confirmation — unrequested returns will not be accepted.

Step 5: Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it to the address provided.

Step 6: Share the courier tracking number with us once dispatched.

6. Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item received was damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • We recommend using a trackable courier service for returns. Meraki by Emaan is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return shipping process.
  • Return shipments must be sent using a reliable courier such as TCS, Leopards, or M&P.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned item
  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method where possible
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer or EasyPaisa/JazzCash — please provide your account details when initiating the return

If rejected:

  • We will notify you of the reason
  • The item will be returned to you at your expense

Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

8. Exchanges

We are happy to exchange an item for a different size, colour, or style subject to availability.

  • Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.
  • The item must meet all return conditions listed in Section 2
  • If the exchanged item has a higher price, the difference must be paid before dispatch
  • If the exchanged item has a lower price, the difference will be refunded via store credit or bank transfer
  • Exchange shipping is the responsibility of the customer in both directions unless the original item was defective or incorrect

To request an exchange, follow the same process as a return (Section 5) and specify that you would like an exchange and which item you prefer.

9. Store Credit

In some cases, we may offer store credit as an alternative to a refund. Store credit:

  • Does not expire
  • Can be used on any future purchase at merakibyemaan.pk
  • Cannot be converted to cash

10. Order Cancellations

Before dispatch: Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placement by contacting us immediately on WhatsApp. Once the order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — you will need to follow the return process upon delivery.

After dispatch: We are unable to cancel orders that have already been handed over to the courier. If you no longer want the item, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately, or follow the return process.

11. Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy

For COD orders:

  • Please ensure you are available to receive and inspect the parcel at delivery
  • If you refuse a delivery without a valid reason, future COD orders from your address may be restricted
  • Repeated refusals negatively impact small Pakistani businesses like ours — we appreciate your understanding
